Www.saralondonwriter.com is a portfolio website showcasing the books, writing and experience of my aunt, Sara London. My client’s criteria was for a very simple, clean design that would be easy to maintain and fully responsive. The site is built on WordPress using the Fruitful theme. The website includes a YouTube video that opens and plays in lightbox, JQuery collapsible areas via the “Collapse-O-Matic” plugin to hide long excerpts and a contact form.
I continue to work with Sara London to maintain her site, running backups and updates when necessary, checking to make sure all external links work properly, and adding new content as she continues to publish. I have also begun consulting with Sara on social media usage, particularly for posting and promoting events and readings on her Facebook Page for her latest book, Upkeep.
